Never let go of an odd idea when you can inflate it
to the point of utter daffiness. Ten years later, the land
battleship idea was revived and improved. The original
plan was merely infeasible, but this rises to
the
ludicrously impossible.
Yes, it's an eight hundred foot high and
God knows how long custom-built submarine-land dreadnought. As
it lumbers out of the depths, it instils fear in the hearts of men,
admiration in the capitals of Europe, and head-banging on the tables
of the Admiralty as the behemoth's giant tank treads turn the ground
beneath it into pudding and bring its career to a churning halt
before it gets a hundred yards.
Think of it as a mechanical allegory of the UN. |
