the
ludicrously impossible.

God knows how long custom-built submarine-land dreadnought. As
it lumbers out of the depths, it instils fear in the hearts of men,
admiration in the capitals of Europe, and head-banging on the tables
of the Admiralty as the behemoth's giant tank treads turn the ground
beneath it into pudding and bring its career to a churning halt
before it gets a hundred yards.
